Terms & Conditions

1) Scope & Our Role
  • We are a technology intermediary that enables online medical consultations between patients and independent Registered Medical Practitioners (RMPs) in India.
  • We do not provide medical care ourselves, do not sell/dispense medicines, and do not run diagnostics or emergency services.
  • Clinical advice, diagnosis and prescriptions are the RMP’s sole responsibility.
2) Who can use the Platform
  • Patients: You must be 18+ and competent to contract. For a minor, only a parent/legal guardian may create/manage the account and must be present during consultations.
  • Doctors (RMPs): You must hold valid State/NMC registration and practice as per the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines.
  • Provide accurate information and keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
3) No anonymous telemedicine; identity & Transparency
  • Tele-consults are not anonymous.
  • RMPs must begin by stating name and qualifications and must display their State/NMC registration number on the app profile, prescriptions, receipts and electronic communications.
  • Patients must be identifiable. RMPs will verify identity (e.g., name, age, address, contact or suitable ID). For prescriptions, age will be recorded; proof may be requested.
  • For minors, an accompanying adult’s identity is also verified.
4) Consent
  • Implied consent applies when the patient initiates a consult on the Platform.
  • Explicit consent (recorded via text/email/audio/video) is required when a consult is initiated by an RMP, health worker or caregiver.
5) Modes of consultation & Professional judgment
  • Consults may be over video, audio or text. The RMP decides the suitable mode, may request video, and may refer to in-person care whenever needed.
6) Not for emergencies
  • The Platform is not for emergencies. If an emergency is suspected, the RMP may give first-aid advice/counselling and refer immediately for in-person care. Patients must seek in-person care at the earliest.
7) Clinical standards, first vs follow-up
  • RMPs must obtain adequate information and uphold a standard of care appropriate to telemedicine.
  • First consult: first interaction, or gap > 6 months, or new condition.
  • Follow-up: within 6 months for the same condition (continuation of care).
8) Prescriptions (India-specific)
  • RMPs may prescribe only after adequate assessment and a (provisional) diagnosis.
  • List O (common OTC/low-risk) — may be prescribed via any mode.
  • List A — may be prescribed on a first video consult and for refills in follow-ups.
  • List B — may be added in follow-ups for the same condition.
  • Never by telemedicine: Schedule X drugs and narcotic/psychotropic substances.
  • E-prescription: A signed e-prescription (with RMP registration number) will be issued to the patient; it may be sent to a pharmacy only with the patient’s explicit consent.
9) Records, fees & Invoices
  • Records: RMPs must maintain a digital trail and retain consultation notes and prescriptions as required for in-person care.
  • Fees: Tele-consults may carry usual professional fees. Receipts/invoices are issued for payments made via the Platform.
10) Privacy & Data Use
  • We process personal and health information to operate the Platform, connect you with RMPs, and meet legal obligations. We apply reasonable safeguards, but no system is 100% secure.
  • Data is shared with your RMP(s) and trusted service providers under confidentiality. Access/correction options are available in-app; see our Privacy Policy for details.
11) Payments, cancellations & Refunds
  • Fees are shown before payment; payments use approved gateways.
  • Cancellation/no-show and any refund rules are displayed at booking in the app.
  • Failed/duplicate transactions are reversed to the original payment method.
